Can the E-Z Tray obtain NSF 61 certification for drinking water applications?
Yes, QED has been looking at that. In fact, we have some of the larger unit designs submitted to NSF, it tends to be a fairly long process, but we feel we’re going to have that certification fairly soon.
PLEASE NOTE: QED Environmental System, Inc.’s E-Z Tray® Air Strippers were recently certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 61: Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects (the nationally recognized health effects standard for all products that come in contact with drinking water). This marks the first self-contained air stripper that has been certified by NSF International, an independent global organization that writes public health standards and certifies products for water, food and consumer goods.
