Have you compared the performance of air strippers to a diffused aerator at sites with high fouling conditions?

Not directly. In terms of the fouling rate, the diffused aerator is probably not going to need to be cleaned as frequently, and inputs for the air can’t get fouled up. But their efficiency, compared to tray and tower strippers, is a lot lower. Some sites have to achieve very low levels of organics, for that you really need to look at a highly efficient process unit.
