If you are using an extraction well that is being injected with hydrogen peroxide and iron sulfate can that cause problems with the materials of the E-Z Tray Air Stripper beyond iron fouling?
We are not necessarily experts on corrosion, but there will be certain things that we can look for like PH, chloride levels, and if you’re forming some sulfuric acid – these could be an issue with some of the types of materials in the E-Z Tray. Just to note, our standard air stripper is constructed out of 304 stainless steel, but we have made quite a few out of 316 stainless steel for particular situations. At sites that require PH reduction, we’ve made strippers out of 2205 stainless steel, and we have also constructed some air strippers out of marine grade aluminum, so there is some flexibility in material options.
