Pump Position

What different approaches are required for open bedrock wells?

What are the capabilities of bladder pumps as far as depth?

When using a peristaltic pump where is the ideal location for the tubing inlet?

In the study that compared DCE and TCE between no-purge and low-flow methods, were the low-flow samples collected at different depths too, or was the pump always placed at the same depth?

When using a portable pump with length restrictions, how critical is pump placement in the well?

When using low flow purging, if the groundwater level is below the well screen should the pump still be placed in the middle of the well screen?

If pump intake placement doesn’t matter why would the Florida DEP mandate that a pump intake be placed two feet below the water column when purging a non-submerged screen well?

What is the depth limitation for low flow bladder sampling?

Does placement of a low flow pump within the well screen matter?
