LFG Well Cap - Overview
New well caps provide liquid level access without removing the wellhead
The 6" Well Cap is designed to work with existing 6” diameter wells with 2” gas wellheads, along with new wells. It has two ports allowing easy access for level probes, bubbler tubes and the New QED Easy Level (Patent Pending) for monitoring and measuring liquid levels. Temperature and vacuum can also be measured directly though the ports. The 8" Well Cap can accommodate 2" or 3" wellheads and has 5 access ports. It can be used in combination with a down well pump to remove landfill liquids. The 8” model also provides ports to accommodate a QED AutoPump. The LFG Well Cap’s durable, heavy-walled, polyethylene construction makes it ideal for any climate.

QED has two versions of the LFG Well Cap, available for both 6" and 8" diameter gas wells. These are the first gas well caps to allows liquid level readings without removing the wellhead, making it faster and safer, and causing less system disruption. With the available liquid level options, there is no air introduction or gas release, no need to shut down the well for level measurements, and no need to rebalance the wellfield afterwards.
