QED Environmental Systems LTD. has achieved UKAS ISO17025 accreditation for its calibration lab for its full range of landfill and biogas analysers.
By controlling this process, it gives users the most comprehensive externally audited and verified performance endorsement available for a manufacturer of portable gas analyser calibration.
ATEX is the name commonly given to the legal requirements for controlling explosive atmospheres and the suitability of equipment and protective systems used in them
If you manufacture electrical equipment used in hazardous locations and intend to market your products in the European Union, your equipment must comply with the ATEX directive. Through independent testing, our portable analysers meet CSA certification recognised across North America.
Meeting this certification grants the CSA mark to be labelled on our analysers which is widely recognised and accepted by safety experts and our distributor. It confirms that it has been tested and has met the applicable standards for safety & performance as outlined by regulatory bodies ANSI, UL, CSA, NSF and more.
Being IECEx compliant, QED Environmental Systems LTD. manufactures portable analysers to a global standard, ensuring high performance and safety to our customers.
IECEx is internationally recognised certification, globally accepted as a mark of performance and meeting high safety standards. It is based on a number of International Standards associated with explosive atmospheres, which gives our customers and distributor network the upmost confidence in the analyser.
MCERTS is the Environment Agency of England & Wales (EA) Monitoring Certification Scheme. It gives confirmation of performance of equipment to the demanding MCERTS standards which assists end users in demonstrating full compliance.
MCERTS provides the framework for businesses to meet quality requirements. Compliance with MCERTS gives the EA confidence in the monitoring of emissions to the environment. A key part of MCERTS is accrediting monitoring equipment and loggers used in environmental monitoring applications, although they may be invalidated if not used in line with the exact processes used when tested.
